Kent Alpaca Trekking Experience
Trek with your very own alpaca through the beautifully serene Romney Marsh countryside, learning all about them on the way.
Our alpacas are friendly, gentle and curious animals who love a fuss from people, even more so when you have carrots, of course! The trekking alpacas are also happily halter trained, which allows for a great experience walking your very own alpaca in the Kent countryside – who will get as much enjoyment from the trek as you will.

Our Guidelines
*Note that children under 14, for health and safety reasons, are unable to walk their own Alpaca. However, provided the accompanying adult has a firm grip, a child may share the same lead so as to not miss out.
Children between 14 and 17 may walk their own Alpaca, but an accompanying adult must be present at all times
Dogs are not permitted on our treks or near the alpaca farm
Meet & Greet
Don’t fancy an alpaca trek? Why not pop along to meet the stars of the show.
Meet and Greets are great for those too young to walk the alpacas or unable to walk long distances.
There’ll be a short talk from our resident expert where you’ll learn about these incredible creatures and how to safely interact with them plus hand feeding & photo opportunities.
We advise that children are to be supervised by an adult at all times – one child per adult preferably.
Note: all Meet & Greets must be booked in advance – unfortunately, it’s not possible to turn up and see the alpacas.

I was paired with Fennel slightly taller than the rest….it was love at first sight!! Finding it difficult to resist giving him a huge hug, I remembered the things Lara had told us earlier and resisted the urge…

Hi Karen, the lovely Lara and Julie
Have just been and now I pick up the reminder. How efficient. We had such a wonderful time and I would like to thank you so very much.So soothing and how knowledgeable you are about such beautiful creatures. They do you credit, because you look after them so very well. Such fun was it real I wonder?
Again thank you all so very much. Am still floating. On behalf of us all many thanks.
Best wishes, keep trekking
Just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had on the trek – the alpacas are lovely, Lara was fab and the chap helping her was so knowledgeable – I have recommend this to my friends – thank you again.
